Company DescriptionIPF Limited is a leading manufacturer of custom fabricated plastic & fiberglass contact molded products, specializing in chemical applications & pollution control equipmentWe also design and engineer ventilation systems, fiberglass equipment, process systems and dual lamination equipment.Role DescriptionWe are currently seeking a full-time Estimator specializing in Fiberglass Reinforced Plastics (FRP) to join our team in Brampton, ON. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for estimating costs and preparing accurate project quotes for FRP manufacturing projects. This role requires a strong attention to detail, a thorough understanding of FRP fabrication processes, and the ability to analyze project specifications to determine material and labor requirements. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting our sales team and ensuring the profitability and success of our projects.QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of experience as an Estimator in the FRP manufacturing industryStrong knowledge and understanding of FRP fabrication processesAbility to accurately interpret project specifications and drawingsProficiency in estimating software and toolsExcellent mathematical and analytical skillsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsEffective communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and meet deadlinesExperience with cost control and budget managementKnowledge of PVC, Polypropylene, and Polyethylene fabrication is a plusAlso resposnsible for purchasing project related materialsOther duties as requiredRequirements: Post Secondary Education in a Construction or Engineering related fieldAbility to work with minimal supervisionMust be detail oriented, and be able to take directionStrong Microsoft Excel skills or other relevant estimating software related to our industryStrong work ethic, with a relentless focus on helping to grow the company.
