Position Overview
Our client is a well established organization in Ottawa, and they are looking for a Lawyer with health law and civil litigation experience to join their team.

Responsibilities
Offering legal guidance, counsel, and assistance to nursing professionals regarding matters arising in their professional practice
Evaluating and examining legal documentation
Offering guidance and continuous assistance to nurses engaged in legal disputes and litigation
Strategically overseeing litigation and legal proceedings in various Canadian regions
Documenting legal services in compliance with relevant standards and company protocols

Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the bar and in good standing.
2-5 years of experience practicing health law and civil litigation, with a strong understanding of relevant statutes, case law, and procedures.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively advocate for clients and negotiate settlements.
Strong work ethic and a team player.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
Demonstrated commitment to client advocacy, professionalism, and ethical conduct.
