Children's Therapist in Windsor, MO at Compass Health Network

Compensation: $29.29 - $36.29/hr (Dep on License)

Due to critical service need of the communities we serve, we are offering a $4,000 sign-on bonus.* We are eager to continue to provide quality and compassionate care in our service areas and need you to make this happen

The Therapist at Royal Oaks Hospital provides direct patient care (assessment, individual, family and group psychotherapy) to patients on any designated unit in a psychiatric setting. They will also create treatment plans and all other necessary, relevant patient-care related documentation. Discusses patient’s responses to treatment and discusses individual treatment progress with specific Program Director and treatment team members, when applicable. Provides clinical supervision with Master level trainees as assigned by the Director of Clinical Services.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Provide initial evaluation and assessment interview within 72 hours of patient admission
• Develop appropriate treatment plan to provide service during hospitalization and provide aftercare recommendations
• Conduct individual, group, and family/couples therapy
• Maintain appropriate documentation within time frames stated in policies
• Work with interdisciplinary treatment team members
• Abide by HIPPA laws
• Remain current on organizational standards such as (but not limited to) CALM, CPR, and Essential learning Abide by all professional and corporate ethical standards
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Master’s degree in counseling, social work or psychology as recognized by the US Department of Education

Working knowledge of DSM-5 preferred

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: PLPC, LPC, LMSW or LCSW required
