The Senior Vice President (SVP), Personal Insurance, will play a critical role in guiding a dedicated team of 300 professionals and a leadership cadre of 6, directly contributing to our ethos of service excellence and client satisfaction. This strategic position reports to the President of HUB Ontario/Atlantic and is a vibrant part of our Executive Management Team.

What You’ll Do

Craft and implement a visionary strategy to amplify the growth of Personal Insurance at HUB, ensuring alignment with budgetary goals for sales, retention, and revenue, while upholding fiscal prudence.

Champion the achievement of critical Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that propel our strategic direction.

Provide directional leadership to our Retail, Private Client Group, and Group Sales verticals within Personal Insurance, fostering cross-segment synergies.

Collaborate with the Chief Sales Officer to devise and execute sales strategies that:

Significantly enhance Group business penetration annually.

Formulate a dynamic growth strategy for the underrepresented Group business segments.

Refine and innovate sales models across all divisions for optimized revenue growth and sales effectiveness.

Oversee the creation of compelling marketing assets to underscore the Personal Insurance Value Proposition and stimulate lead generation.

Lead Talent Management initiatives within Personal Insurance, focusing on employee engagement, leadership development, and succession planning, while maintaining an external talent pipeline.

Engage with key clients, devising strategies to deepen penetration, and enhance service and retention.

Stay abreast of insurance carrier trends and product innovations.

Utilize business analytics to drive team performance and client solutions.

Represent HUB with pride at various events, including those outside regular business hours

What You’ll Need for Success

A minimum of 10 years in a managerial role with a proven track record in strategic leadership and stakeholder engagement.

At least 7 years of experience in nurturing a strong team culture.

A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated success in driving new business within the insurance brokerage landscape.

Exceptional ability to influence within a complex organizational structure, with a keen understanding of business drivers.

Experience catering to High-Net-Worth individuals.

Preferably, a deep understanding of Personal Insurance products.

A consultative, client-first mindset.

Robust business acumen with excellent communication and presentation skills.

RIBO License is required.

Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with TAM or Epic broker management systems are advantageous.
