You plan, develop and execute capital projects by supporting technical developments, feasibility perspectives of engineering-related activities in supply chain and capital expense project execution to support growth, world-class manufacturing, and productivity with the highest levels of quality, safety, and environmental requirements. You will follow Mondelēz business and innovation processes in project management and ensure that Mondelēz standards are adhered to.

How you will contribute

To ensure that accurate budgets, plans, and fit-for-purpose technical solutions are delivered, you will work with key stakeholders to define and deliver the capital and technical agendas during the development phases of capital investment projects. You will develop capital budgets according to the contract and forecast cash flow, ensure that engineering developments and standards are implemented, and support the development and implementation of state-of-the-art processes and equipment strategies to optimize resources, harmonize assets and rollout best practices. In this role, you will support capital project execution and will be accountable for the quality and results of the capital projects per Mondelēz standards and our business and innovation processes in project management.

What you need to know about this position:

  1. Ability to work across multiple geographical locations within the region.
  2. Flexibility in Working Location driven by the ability to travel.
  3. Ability to balance leading-edge technology solutions with capital availability and the need for high savings.
  4. Ability to identify engineering solutions that consider our global network and category position.
  5. Ability to integrate Integrated Lean 6 Sigma (IL6S) phase requirements into projects.
  6. Ability to manage ambiguity and interpret large amounts of information and draw conclusions that support the project scope.
  7. Ability to think outside of the box and understand the broad category needs.

Within this role, the individual will be working across a matrix organization and will be expected to work with project teams across countries and a global community. The role will therefore have significant complexity & cultural diversity to manage.

Education / Certifications:

University Degree or equivalent further education qualification in relevant discipline. Fluency with computer applications such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint, AutoCAD, project management software, and ERP systems (e.g. SAP).

Job specific requirements:
  1. 6+ years of Project Management experience
  2. Experience working across multiple countries and regions
  3. Good knowledge in confectionery and snacks technology and suppliers of respective equipment
  4. Experience in IL6S with a focus on IIM
  5. Training or mentoring experience (Preferred)
  6. Proven Project Management skills
