JOB PURPOSE:

Support the accounting department by assisting with accounts receivable, accounts payable, data entry, and providing general administrative support.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform data entry and documentation preparation for accounts receivable transactions.
Perform data entry and documentation preparation for accounts payable transactions.
Provide general administrative support to the accounting department.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepare, verify, and process invoices with accurate job cost codes.
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
Ensure transactions comply with financial policies and procedures.
Verify accuracy of transactions and data entry.
Provide support to other accounting positions as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Post-secondary education in accounting or equivalent.
Minimum two years' experience in supporting or performing accounting roles.
Experience with ERP systems, Viewpoint ERP System experience preferred.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining organization.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism with sensitive information.
Proven ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Solution-oriented mindset with the ability to work through ambiguity.
Analytical and results-driven attitude.
Positive teamwork-oriented approach to daily interactions.
