Join Our Mission:We are on the hunt for an imaginative and user-focused Product Designer to enrich our dynamic team. This role reports to the Director of Product. In this pivotal role, you will sculpt the aesthetics, ambiance, and user experience of our leading-edge pet health platform. Working closely with teams across Product, Marketing, Data, Customer Experience, Veterinary Services, and Business Development, you will develop innovative solutions that deeply connect with our pet parents and their cherished pets.
Our Product Design Team—composed of passionate pet enthusiasts—dedicates every day to advancing the well-being of veterinary professionals and pet parents alike. We are committed to a universal design philosophy, aiming to create accessible products for all. Your ability to lead inclusively, communicate effectively, and collaborate extensively will be crucial in this role.
Your Impact:- Design Excellence: Craft user-centric designs, developing wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and prototypes that effectively communicate your vision.
- Collaborative Innovation: Work closely with product managers and engineers to develop groundbreaking solutions that drive the platform’s evolution.
- Design Leadership: Lead design reviews and contribute to collective design initiatives, advocating for design thinking and a user-focused approach throughout the organization.
- User Research: Spearhead user research and usability testing initiatives to gather deep insights and effectively address user challenges.
- Industry Awareness: Maintain a keen awareness of industry trends and the competitive landscape to ensure our platform remains a leader in the market.
- Portfolio: A robust portfolio demonstrating your ability to design for both web and mobile platforms.
- Tool Proficiency: Expertise in using leading design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD)
- Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to articulate design concepts and decisions, seamlessly incorporating feedback to refine your work.
- Product Launch Experience: A proven track record of successfully launching complex digital products and features, with a clear understanding of the impacts and learnings from each project.
- Collaborative Spirit: A proactive approach to teamwork, ready to significantly influence our product strategy and execution with a user-centered perspective.
- Design Systems Knowledge: A strong understanding of design system fundamentals, ensuring consistency and scalability in your work.
- Analytics Experience: Proficiency in leveraging product analytics tools such as Fullstory, Mixpanel, Heap, to inform and refine design decisions.
