Notre client est un entrepreneur pour une compagnie minière dont les opérations se situent à la limite nord du territoire québécois au Nunavik. Son mandat est de transporter le concentré de minerai du site minier au port de mer (Baie Déception) et de transporter le pétrole et autre cargo du port de mer au site minier.


***C'est un poste 50/50 dont vous travaillez pendant 2 semaines aux Raglan Mines, puis vous revenez pour prendre la relâche pendant 2 semaines, alors vous travaillez la moitié de l'année.***


Le poste offre des assurances, REER, et paient les vacances à 6% même si vous auriez 26 semaines de relâche.


Relevant directement du Directeur adjoint - Transport, le poste de préventionniste est un rôle très concret et vos principales tâches consisteront à promouvoir et à soutenir de manière proactive une culture positive de la qualité, de la santé, de la sécurité et de l'environnement au sein de l'entreprise, en soutenant les objectifs SST en s'engageant auprès du personnel et des équipes opérationnelles pour les soutenir et les éduquer sur l'importance et la mise en œuvre des normes SST.


Exigences nécessaires :

• Doit être disponible pour voyager (Fly-in & Fly-out – deux semaines in, deux semaines out)

• Baccalauréat en santé et sécurité, relations industrielles, ressources humaines ou l'équivalent ou une combinaison d'expérience dans l'industrie minière ou du transport

• 3+ ans d'expérience pertinente dans un rôle similaire

• Connaissance approfondie du RSST, et de la LSST

• Aptitude fonctionnelle en Microsoft 365

• Atout : Formation en hygiène, SST ou agent de prévention

• Connaissance du marché du Nunavik est un atout


Responsabilités :

• Travailler et soutenir étroitement avec les gestionnaires/contremaîtres afin d'assurer le respect et l'optimisation des procédures en matière de santé & sécurité au travail

• Effectuer les audits, analyses de risques et enquêtes d'accidents

• Promouvoir et assurer le respect des procédures de sécurité dans le déroulement quotidien des opérations du site

• Mise en application le programme de prévention de la compagnie, incluant les exigences de la minière cliente

• Participer au développement des rapports d'analyse de statistiques en rapport avec les performances SST de l'entreprise

• Animer les réunions du comité SST

• Identifier les besoins en équipements de protection et s’assure du contrôle du port des EPI par les travailleurs

• Effectue toute autre tâche connexe sur demande de son supérieur immédiat
