Work Arrangements:

  • Due to the nature of the work and operational requirements, this position will require some physical presence at the NRC work location identified in the form of a hybrid work arrangement (a combination of working onsite and offsite).

Screening Criteria

Applicants must demonstrate within the content of their application that they meet the following screening criteria in order to be given further consideration as candidates:
 

Candidates must respond to all pre-screening questions in order to be considered. Failure to do so will result in automatic disqualification.

Education

Undergraduate degree from a recognized postsecondary institution in a relevant discipline.
 

  • Experience in developing procedures, processes and guidance material related to the administration and operations of programs.
  • Experience in giving advice and making recommendations to managers on complex programming or situations.
  • Experience in developing, liaising and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and / or external stakeholders.
  • Experience in coordinating or managing projects. 

    Assets: 
  • Experience in the design and delivery of transfer payment programs.
  • Experience applying theories and principles of social sciences including economic, socio-economic, demographic and statistical research, forecasting and analysis.
  • Experience in coordinating change management activities.
     

Candidates will be assessed on the basis of the following criteria:

  • Ability to structure and organize information and demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail. 
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
  • Ability to apply sound judgement for problem solving and providing advice to management.

In addition, the incumbent will receive the Bilingualism Bonus of $800 per year.
