L’analyste, Information financière est responsable de la préparation et de l’examen des états financiers, des annexes, des notes, des rapports de la direction sur le rendement des fonds et d’autres renseignements sur les fonds Counsel. Ce poste exige une connaissance approfondie des fonds d’investissement et une connaissance des exigences particulières relatives à la présentation de l’information sur les fonds, y compris le Règlement 81-106 et les IFRS. Il nécessite également la capacité d’établir les priorités et de gérer sa propre charge de travail afin de respecter les délais réglementaires. Une responsabilité à l’égard de l’exécution des tâches avec un degré élevé d’exactitude et de rapidité est attendue.

Principales responsabilités de l’analyste, Information financière

  • Préparer les états financiers intermédiaires et annuels, y compris les trousses de documents à l’appui pour les fonds complexes, avec exactitude et dans les délais impartis.
  • S’acquitter des tâches de présentation de l’information financière à la fin du mois et du trimestre, ainsi que d’autres activités de présentation de l’information, au besoin.
  • Examiner les trousses d’information financière préparées par le fournisseur de services pour en vérifier l’exactitude et l’exhaustivité.
  • Assister les responsables externes des audits pour les audits de fonds.
  • Aider à résoudre les problèmes relatifs à la présentation de l’information.
  • Contribuer à la consignation et à la révision des politiques et procédures de contrôle interne et recommander des améliorations à apporter aux processus, au besoin.
  • Savoir travailler sous pression pour respecter les échéances.
  • Se tenir au courant des exigences comptables pour les fonds d’investissement et les divers types de titres.
  • Procéder à un examen complet des états financiers soumis au fournisseur de services d’éditique.
  • Participer à des projets spéciaux ou à d’autres tâches et apporter son soutien, au besoin.
  • S’impliquer à part entière dans l’équipe, promouvoir l’efficacité de l’équipe et contribuer à un environnement de travail positif.

Qualification souhaitable

  • Diplôme de premier cycle en comptabilité, en finance ou dans une discipline équivalente.
  • Connaissance approfondie de Microsoft Excel et de Microsoft Word.
  • Expérience en comptabilité dans le domaine des fonds d’investissement, un atout.
  • Connaissance des instruments financiers complexes ainsi que des différents produits dérivés.
  • Connaissance des différentes structures de fonds d’investissement et compréhension des règles de présentation de l’information financière qui s’appliquent à celles-ci.
  • Connaissance des exigences en matière de présentation de l’information financière pour les fonds communs de placement selon le Règlement 81-106 et les sections des IFRS qui se rapportent aux fonds d’investissement.
  • Excellentes compétences analytiques et capacité à travailler de façon autonome et à faire preuve de minutie.
  • Excellentes aptitudes pour la communication orale, écrite et interpersonnelle.
  • Souci du détail et solides compétences analytiques.
  • Grand sens de l’organisation et de la gestion du temps.
  • Motivation et capacité à travailler en équipe.
  • Contrat de 8 mois
