LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE

Shift time: Flexible Hours (FT, PT, Casual)

Wage: $40/h

Working as a nurse at Amica Somerset House involves providing care and support to the residents living in the independent residences. You would be responsible for various tasks such as administering medications, monitoring residents' health, assisting with activities of daily living, and coordinating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of the residents.

Given the independent living setting, the atmosphere is relaxed and you will build strong relationships with residents and their families, as well as collaborating closely with other staff members to create a supportive and welcoming community.

What you will bring:

Current registration and good standing with the BCCNM.
Current CPR certification.
Ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members.
Previous experience working in long-term care/assisted living environment considered an asset.
