Contract Weed Surveyor

Company DescriptionCompliant Environmental Services has served multiple clients throughout Canada since 2012. Role DescriptionThis is a 2-3 weeks in July 2024 contract role for a Weed Surveyor. As a Weed Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting on-site surveys and assessments to identify and document weed species and populations in the Lloydminster, SK area. You will collect data on weed distribution and abundance, record observations, and contribute to the development of weed management plans. This is a field-based role that requires extensive travel and working in outdoor environments.QualificationsPrevious experience in surveying, field data collection, or related rolesKnowledge of common weed species and their characteristicsUnderstanding of survey techniques and data collection methodsAbility to use GPS devices and other survey equipmentExcellent attention to detail and ability to accurately record and document observationsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsPhysical fitness and ability to work in outdoor environments for extended periodsValid driver's license and ability to travel to various survey sitesKnowledge of weed management practices is a plus
