We are seeking a diligent Scanning/Records Clerk to support our public sector client in Victoria, BC. The successful candidate will play an important role in digitizing hard copy documents and providing general administrative support. This 4 weeks contract position offers an opportunity to contribute to the efficiency of our client's operations while gaining valuable experience in a public sector environment. The hours for this position will be 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (with 30-minute unpaid lunch break) Responsibilities:Scan hard copy documents into electronic systemPerform general administrative tasks as neededEnsuring the accuracy and completeness of scanned documentsCollaborating with team members to prioritize scanning tasksMaintaining confidentiality and security of scanned documentsRequirements:Ability to pass a criminal background checkOn-site work requiredOffice experience is requiredPrevious experience in administration or records management would be highly encouragedAbility to learn new system Attention to detailsAdditional Information:Immediate availability preferred
