Senior Surface Production Driller

About the Role:

Currently, we are seeking a motivated and qualified individual to join our growing team as a Senior Surface Production Driller in Sudbury, ON. The key responsibilities of the Senior Surface Production Driller include but are not limited to:

  • Operate surface drilling equipment for mining, quarrying, and road construction projects
  • Safely and efficiently execute drilling operations according to project specifications
  • Contribute to a tight-knit team and a sense of family
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure project goals are met
  • Maintain equipment and perform routine inspections
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times

Qualifications

  • Highly skilled in Senior Surface Production Drilling in pits, quarries, and road construction. 5-10 Years of relevant experience is required.
  • Proficient in operating drilling equipment, preferably including Epiroc T40 and Epiroc SmartRoc D65 and other heavy equipment (i.e. excavator) is an asset
  • Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and best practices
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to quality, safety, and the well-being of your team
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Willingness to travel for occasional out-of-town projects
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
