We are looking for a Graphic Designer to become an integral part of our creative team. As a Graphic Designer at 500 Degrees, you are responsible for the development and design of digital and print in and out-of-home merchandising, marketing, and promotional communications in support of our big brand, industry-leading clients. We want someone who loves branding, typography, the use of color and can’t settle for their first idea. Someone whose work inspires others to try harder and makes clients say, “... that’s amazing, show me more.”

What You'll Do:

  1. Develop creative ideas, concepts, campaigns, and insights that will drive consumers to react.
  2. Create visually appealing and innovative design concepts for various marketing materials, including but not limited to print advertisements, digital ads, social media graphics, websites, email campaigns, and promotional materials.
  3. Design visually unique graphic solutions to communicate brand message across all platforms.
  4. Work off of client creative briefs to come up with new design strategies/ideas and refresh the current when needed, all while working within the brand guidelines of our clients.
  5. Utilize best practice design techniques to transform conceptual ideas into polished designs; including but not limited to:
    1. Typography, color, shape, and layout.
    2. Animation/motion design.
    3. Illustration.
  6. Effectively collaborate and communicate design concepts with internal creative team to build a culture of innovation, excellence, and accountability.
  7. Work with cross-functional teams such as account service, production, and project management to ensure high-quality execution on creative deliverables.
  8. Be a strong partner and influencer of the creative process.

What You'll Need:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field preferred and/or equivalent work experience.
  2. 3+ years of professional design experience (must have portfolio to share).
  3. Prior marketing/creative agency experience preferred.
  4. QSR/food photography experience is a huge plus.
  5. Must have a portfolio of projects across print and digital – motion graphics is a must.
  6. Knowledge of the production process, including proofing required.
  7. Expert use of Adobe CS (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects).
  8. Experience creating presentations required (Keynote is a must-have or a must-learn).
  9. Must possess a mastery of typography, illustration, color, shape, and design.
  10. Experience with video content creation and motion graphics are a huge plus.
  11. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  12. Excellent communication and collaboration skills; you will need to clearly and effectively articulate design thinking and creative choices.
  13. Attention to detail, attention to detail & attention to detail.
  14. Keen eye for aesthetics.
  15. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.

Physical & Travel Requirements:

  1. Ability to work in a fast-paced and sometimes high-pressure environment.
  2. Stamina to handle extended periods of sitting, standing, and walking.
  3. Availability to travel up to 10-15% of the year, as needed, to client locations, industry events, or other relevant destinations.
