We are looking for a senior telecommunications engineer to join our team of over 150 specialists. You will be involved in the various steps required to carry out engineering mandates in different design fields: intelligent transportation systems, wired and wireless telecommunications, structured cabling, networking, IT infrastructure, video surveillance, access and intrusion control, etc. You'll benefit from our hybrid work policy, and your home office can be located at any of our CIMA+ offices in Quebec.
Primary Responsibilities
- Carry out site surveys in order to collect the information required for engineering purposes
- Design and prepare plans and specifications in a variety of design fields (building telecommunications and industrial environments)
- Write technical and study reports
- Research and analysis of various technological systems
- Project management (finance, coordination and schedules) according to experience
- Occasionally supervise contractor work on site, under the supervision of the senior supervisor
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
- Several years' relevant experience in telecommunications, networking and wireless or electronic building technology systems
