DescriptionEquinox Engineering Ltd., a leading EPCM firm headquartered in Calgary, specializes in oil and gas processing, providing comprehensive services in facilities design, implementation, and operational support for natural gas, conventional, and heavy oil projects. Our clientele includes major oil and gas producers in Canada and globally, and we are actively engaged in diverse sweet gas, sour gas, conventional oil, heavy oil facility, and pipeline projects.
Key Responsibilities
- The Senior Project Engineer works as a key part of the project management group to coordinate discipline engineering and design of all oil & gas projects.
- Key responsibilities include design development and technical content of the project work. The Senior Project Engineer will participate in the design development at the earlier project stages and must have an in-depth understanding of project scope, prior to beginning detailed design.
- He / She will ensure all regulatory applications, codes and standards are met.
- Preparation of weekly and monthly reporting, design recommendations and other technical reports required by clients.
- Participate and work on all bid evaluations.
Key Sills and Abilities
- Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Business Development skills are highly valued.
- Must possess good technical knowledge in Oil and Gas Processing
- Gas Processing experience is a must
Education & Qualifications
- Successful candidate will be P. Eng.
- Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering degree preferred.
- Minimum 10 years oil and gas experience with EPCM background. Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Sour gas project experience required.
