QA Tester

We are looking for a talented QA Tester to join our team of IT professionals on behalf of one of our major clients in the IT sector, located in Nicosia, Cyprus.

Responsibilities:

• Understand business requirements.
• Develop and execute test cases based on business requirements.
• Create or search for test data needed for test cases.
• Identify dependencies on external and internal applications, particularly in cases involving multiple integrations and systems.
• Perform test executions using manual methods.
• Provide test status reports.
• Log and document defects with appropriate traces, screenshots, and descriptions for the development team.
• Maintain close communication with the development team for defect analysis.
• Assist in defect resolution and analyze test outcomes for continuous improvement.
• Utilize various testing methods effectively to achieve better test results.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Manual testing experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Financial / Banking Services & testing methods.
• Previous involvement in IT circles.
• Knowledge of Jira Testing Tool or similar platforms.
• Proficiency in documenting & executing test scenarios.
• Effective communication & collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with SQL & database testing.
• Strong technical skills & eagerness to learn.
• Proficient in documentation, problem-solving & organization.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills in Greek & English (written & verbal).
