Job Summary

The Chief Architect – Customer Delivery is responsible for building and delivering proper architecture of Veridos’ solutions within the Veridos CDO (Customer Delivery Organization). The Chief Architect – Customer Delivery reports to the Veridos Director Solutions Management.

Primary Responsibilities
  • As The Chief Architect – Customer Delivery, candidate is responsible for architecture of overall system delivered to final customers or partners including solution architecture and appropriate IT infrastructure;
  • Ensures that the system architecture aligns with the Veridos' business objectives and strategic priorities. Needs to understand the business requirements, market demands, and customer needs to design systems that deliver value to the business.
  • Ensures that the system architecture complies with relevant standards, regulations, and security requirements established within Veridos.
  • Designs cost-effective architectures with a goal to minimize cost, optimize resource utilization, and reduce inefficiencies.
  • Veridos Architect Evangelist - Coach and support system architects within Customer Delivery Organization; Close, community, way of work, with architects involved in different Veridos departments (Business Lines, R&D etc.). Be capable to build Technical Architect Network within organization
  • Stays updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices related to system architecture and software development. Continuously evaluate and evolve the architecture to meet changing business needs and technological advancements
  • Involving in different phases of Customer Delivery Organization (CDO) activities including presales, proposal, project execution and maintenance phases; When needed, be in front of the customer and present Veridos overall solution with strong focus in securing our technical credibility and excellence
  • Strong involvement in influencing Veridos product roadmaps and securing proper architecture covering all necessary functional and non-functional requirements based on inputs from different customers and partners; Support defining and executing a Veridos’ Update and Upgrade strategy
  • Be technical representative of CDO team in different technical initiatives launched in Veridos’ organization with strong focus of our technical offer’s improvements and modernization of technical stack
  • Define and secure execution of technical roadmap with focus on defining Veridos standard offers (tech stack, documentation, deployment patterns, monitoring, administration etc.)
  • Assess technical offers and engineering capabilities provided by partners including solution review of the scope of partner's delivery
  • If location of the candidate is in regions, one of main targets is to strongly support local organization and help in all technical activities (not exclusively architecture) required to support customers and partners in the region

Qualifications, Experience and Educational Requirements

Work Experience:

  • More than 15 years of strong experience in software and solution architecture as well as Technical leadership (Chief Architect or CTO in smaller organization)

Skills and Competencies:

  • Familiar in Identity / Smart card / Biometric domain(s) with relevant experience in large international organization
  • Team work, attitude to work with colleagues and teams in “One Team” model of cooperation
  • Attitude to constantly work on improving technical knowledge and skills, in love with Innovations

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or another closely related field such as software engineering or information technology
Working Conditions
  • Travel is required across the Americas and Europe
