Founded in Montreal in 2002, we are a team of 120 photographers and sales associates located in 9 studios in Quebec and Ontario.As a growing team, we are looking for a full-time Studio Manager to join our team in Mail ChamplainThe main role of the Studio Manager is to lead by example to his team by providing coaching and contributing to their personal and professional development. He/she is responsible for completing the various reports requested and for making the necessary follow-ups with the head office. He trains new employees to ensure that they meet Magenta's standards. He also provides assistance and support to the Director of Operations and regional managers to ensure the implementation and compliance of policies and procedures in place in the studio.Primary Responsibilities:- Scheduling client appointments, leading and facilitating photo shoots and guiding clients through the process of selecting their digital images and products.- Inspiring the team towards performance by performing on their own in sales, photography and customer service.- Send and analyze studio results, establishing a plan of action.- Plan daily studio activities.- Ensure the smooth daily operation of the studio, managing studio inventories, receiving orders, general studio presentation, and daily cash reconciliations.- Tracking, verifying and sending customer orders to the lab.- Contribute to the ongoing development of the team by providing regular recognition-based coaching, providing feedback on overall employee performance, and take disciplinary action with the assistance of Human Resources when necessary.- Ensure compliance with company policies by all employees, and follow up when necessary.- Inspire his/her team with personal results, motivating them to achieve studio goals, and acting as a role model to his/her employees while maintaining a healthy environment.- Be proactive and intervene when there are some deficiencies in overall performance.- Provide excellent customer service and work collaboratively with the Regional Customer Service Manager to ensure satisfaction for all customers.- Report to the regional team on overall studio performance, as well as individual employee performance, with the goal of planning an action plan.- Participate in weekly conference calls.- Ensure good communication between the studio and the head office, and make all necessary follow-ups.- Participate in the hiring process, assisting the HR department, but also providing training for new employees.- Any other related duties and as needed.Job Requirements:Availability:- Must be available full time (35-40 hours per week) on weekdays and weekends.Training:- DES.- Courses in photography (an asset)- Degree in Management (an asset)Work Experience:- Preferably, hold two (2) years of relevant team management experience.- Minimum 5 years of customer service experience.- Relevant studio experience.Required Qualifications:- Excellent oral and written communication skills in both French and English.Skills and Abilities:- Results oriented and strong team motivation skills.- Good high level sales and customer service skills.- Demonstrate leadership, self-direction, initiative and good judgment.- Very good organizational skills and good time management and prioritization.- Ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced work environment.- Excellent customer service skills.Work: face to faceSalary: $17.00 - $21.00 per hourBenefits:- Employee discounts- Group insurance after 6 months of employment- On-site parking
