Responsibilities:
  1. Conducting and/or managing remedial option evaluations, treatment system upgrades, stormwater infrastructure, landfill closure techniques, and/or infrastructure construction oversight.
  2. Working on a design team for remedial systems, in-situ chemical treatments for contaminated soil and groundwater, barrier walls, treatment plant upgrades, landfill covers, etc.
  3. Travelling to sites to observe site conditions, oversee staff and contractors, and conduct field engineering reviews.
  4. Preparing and/or reviewing of monitoring reports, audit findings, technical reports, design briefs, specifications, tender documents, contracts, etc.
  5. Being involved in project and budget controls, managing schedule, deliverables and staffing for projects.
  6. Making sound decisions and considering innovation for practical and economical project solutions.
  7. Preparing and reviewing work plans, project designs, technical reports and contract specifications for operational and capital upgrade projects.
  8. Administering and managing contracts.
  9. Working with clients, contractors, regulators, and other stakeholders to successfully deliver projects.
  10. Oftentimes acting as a project leader and actively working to encourage teamwork, collaboration, and efficiency, supported by senior engineers.
  11. May supervise engineers and/or technical staff. Conducting peer reviews on the work of colleagues. Acting as a resource to staff members for advice and guidance on potential approaches and problem situations.
  12. Participating in the design, preparation and approval of engineering drawings and specifications in the area of specialty.
  13. Performing other related duties as required.
