About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior QA Lead to join our team. The Senior QA Lead will be responsible for overseeing the entire quality assurance process, ensuring that our business application software meets the highest standards of quality. This role requires extensive experience in managing QA teams, developing test strategies, and using industry-standard tools and methodologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all QA activities, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive QA processes and methodologies.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to define test requirements and objectives.
  • Manage the QA team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
  • Monitor and report on QA activities, including progress, issues, and risk mitigation.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing, test automation, and other test phases/activities.
  • Utilize tools like Jira Xray, Selenium, Robot Framework, and other industry-standard QA tools.
  • Develop, review, and execute program test strategies and test plans for digital products.
  • Ensure adherence to software testing industry best practices and adapt them to client environments.
  • Facilitate effective adoption of QA processes using practical change management techniques.
  • Communicate effectively with business, technical, and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in software QA, with at least 3 years in a lead role.
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Proficiency in Jira Xray, Selenium, Robot Framework, and other relevant tools.
  • Extensive experience with test automation and user acceptance testing.
  • Strong knowledge of IT implementations using waterfall, iterative/hybrid, agile, and product management methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to manage and prioritize conflicting demands.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with public sector clients and large-scale digital initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to mentor and train junior QA team members.
