Role Summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Consultant to join our North America team. The successful candidate will apply technical knowledge to assist in technical consultancy and assessment work in routine situations, under the supervision of a project manager or other relevant staff.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Assist data collection, analysis and presentation of reports as required and aligned to the KPI’s and agreed processes.
  2. Carry out technical inspections/ assessments/design / engineering support work against defined specifications/ scope that includes budget constraints, time and contractual requirements.
  3. Create and maintain technical file systems. Maintain computer databases. Provide administrative assistance as required.
  4. Assist in producing reports/certificates/documents to an agreed format and within an agreed timescale.
  5. Contribute ideas and fully participate in team activities.
  6. Any other duties specific to the role as directed by Principal Consultant or Project Manager.
  7. Pursue continuous professional development in order to build experience and expand knowledge and expertise.
  8. Ensure compliance with Information Security policies & procedures.
  9. Always assess the risks and work in a safe manner, robustly implementing health and safety rules, instructions and systems and refuse to undertake work that compromises your safety or health.
  10. Report in a timely manner all incidents including near miss and safety observations (NMSO), accidents and injuries and raise any health and safety concerns with your line manager.

Key Competencies and Experience

  1. Completed (or working towards completing) a university, technical education in a specified discipline along with relevant demonstrable work experience.
  2. Member (or eligible for membership) of a recognised professional institution.
