As part of the ONxpress consortium, Alstom is proudly working to transform the collective mobility of the Greater Toronto and Hamilton areas (GTHA) through the On-Corridor Works project, and we are hiring for hundreds of roles. The GO Expansion scope: new electric locomotives, fleet upgrades, train control systems, network electrification, signalling, telecommunications and digital systems, maintenance, and much more.
  3. Responsibilities:
    1. Installation Engineering/design.
    2. Delivers engineering studies (Bill of Installation Materials / Quantities, Method Statements, Installation Materials Specification Requirements, Installation drawings and configuration)
    3. Assess monthly the Prime’s progress and generates internal reporting: Action plan progress, report, review, and progress.

  4. Education: EngineerDegree level or equivalent combination of education and experience Certified in Autocad and/or other Design tools desirable P.Eng certification or in progress
  5. Experience: Experience in railway site management Strong knowledge of Railway products and service knowledge on different market segments (Urban, Mainline, Freight and Product) 10+ years production experience in design, drafting or engineering Environmental, Health and Safety background desired Experience of management by Quality, Cost and Delivery objectives desired Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills Quality focused, team player
