This position is a key customer service role. Lead Installer is also responsible for training and coaching newcomers for Installer position. Colonial Countertops provides company vehicle, fuel and all required tools. Job Duties and Responsibilities Transport countertops to specified job sites Check tops sizes and quality before leaving shop Ensure customer’s site is not damaged Install countertops efficiently and professionally, making sure that all seams are tight and fixtures are properly installed Ensure things are cleaned up well after the installation Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues as required Provide the customer with a great service experience Complete full and accurate Install Reports with comments and pictures at the end of every working day Actively participate in the continuous improvement of installation processes and workflow in the team Ensure new installers are fully and properly trained for the job Work in a safe manner that complies with all safety guidelines Maintain professional and technical knowledge Contribute to team effort and completes other duties as required or assigned. Qualifications Experience in a Laminate Countertops Installation position or similar Knowledge of the construction industry an asset Good communication skills Customer service experience an asset Strong problem-solving skills to quickly identify and resolve issues during installations Attention to detail to ensure accurate and precise installation work Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to installation work Ability to learn and retain information, multi-task and work under pressure in a team-oriented environment Ability to lift 50 lbs + Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
