Software Quality Assurance Engineer:

Join FluidAI, a leader in healthcare technology, on our mission to enhance patient care through cutting-edge solutions. Our software is critical to healthcare practitioners worldwide, and we're looking for an experienced Software Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

This position may require travel across the Middle East to collaborate with the FluidAI team and clients, hence the ability to travel to the Middle East is recommended.

Role is for immediate hiring.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage quality assurance activities for complex software systems, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.

• Design, develop, and execute automated testing scripts using advanced tools, enhancing the efficiency and coverage of testing processes.

• Conduct thorough system, integration, and performance testing to identify and rectify potential issues.

• Analyze and improve existing testing methodologies to reduce defects and improve product quality.

• Coordinate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of testing processes within the software development lifecycle.

• Mentor junior QA associates, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the team.

• Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in software quality assurance to implement innovative testing strategies.

• Utilize metrics and analytics to guide quality improvement initiatives and report on the health of the software.

Qualifications:

• In-depth knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes, with a proven track record in leading QA initiatives.

• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.

• Proficient in automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).

• Ability to troubleshoot software issues, identifying and reporting bugs efficiently, while also spearheading the resolution process, ensuring software reliability and performance.

• Proficient in testing hardware to software and machine learning (ML) models to and software integrations, ensuring seamless functionality and system compatibility.

• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software engineering principles.

• Fluent in English and Arabic, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively.

• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing, as well as performance and security testing.

• Ability to think critically and solve complex problems with a keen eye for detail.

• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and mentor junior staff.

• Portfolio or examples of successful QA projects and improvements implemented, demonstrating a strategic approach to software quality.
