Our client, an organization in the banking industry is looking for a Business Analyst.
Job description
As part of the preliminary project, several business needs were analyzed, including the monitoring and management of service contracts. To meet this need, the SAP Fieldglass cloud software package was positioned as the client’s solution.
The SAP Fieldglass solution, more specifically the “Service Contract Tracking” module, was selected among other solutions by the equipment division to address many of the issues related to the management of contract settlements. However, the specificity of the construction industry requires us to review the opportunities to harmonize our processes according to best practices while taking into account the configuration of the “vanilla” solution from Fieldglass / Ariba. The technological solution is designed and developed by a team from the client’s Digital Technologies group in close collaboration with an implementation team that represents the targeted users. The desired resource will act as a business analyst within this team.
Your role and responsibilities
- Model and document detailed business processes.
- Analyze, prioritize and detail business requirements.
- Collaborate with the NTF development team to translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications and design the optimal solution.
- Define and document the data required in the user interfaces.
- Define and document the business rules.
- Validate that the proposed IT solutions meet the business requirements and objectives.
- Participate in the implementation of changes to business processes and work procedures.
- Participate in the definition of test cases and the execution of customer acceptance tests.
- Contribute to the definition and implementation of the change strategy (communication, training, etc.).
- Identify and implement relevant performance indicators in relation to the expected benefits.
Technical capabilities:
- Functional knowledge of SAP S4/HANA MM and PM modules an asset.
- PMP certification an asset.
- Knowledge of BPMN an asset.
- Demonstrated experience in at least one large-scale project using an Agile approach, such as SCRUM, DevOps or SAFe.
Expertise required:
- Good experience in planning and facilitating workshops with large groups (20 stakeholders);
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in French.
- The ability to collaborate with stakeholders from different sectors.
- Good analytical and synthesis skills.
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of the construction industry is an asset.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in business analysis.
- Demonstrated experience in at least two (2) large-scale information systems development and implementation projects.
- Demonstrated experience in supply chain management (physical flows) and its optimization.
- Good experience in business process modelling and transformation.
