JD:-

Provide Petrel Application and Workflow Support (Level-2)
• Perform troubleshooting and how-to on Petrel application and its plug-in apps.
• Provide Petrel workflow support – e.g. create requested workflow for GG & RE users, troubleshoot workflow.
ii. Provide Level-1/Level-2 support to other Petrotech Applications
• Example of other Petrotech applications: Eclipse, RokDoc, Geologix, RE Studio and Prestack Pro.
• Provide level-1 trouble shooting to application issues reported by users – e.g. performance, access and software issues.
• Provide software licensing support – license renewal, installation and troubleshooting.
• Work together with other IT personnel to identify, troubleshoot and resolve level-1 issues reported by Petrotech users.
• Escalate and coordinate level-2/level-3 support with respective software vendors or internal IT helpdesk to resolve any issue that cannot be resolved.

Requirements:-

(a) Minimum of Bachelor Degree in Geoscience, Reservoir Engineering or equivalent.
(b) Minimum 8 years’ experience in providing Petrel on-site support and has good knowledge on managing geoscience workflows in Petrel software environment. (c) Have experience in supporting other technical applications (other than Petrel, but not limited to), i.e. Eclipse, Eclipse Clusters, RokDoc, Geologix, RE Studio and Prestack Pro.
(d) Have experience in technical data management, familiar with technical data formats, i.e. Seismic Seg-Y, well log data and well reports.
(e) Have experience in using Linux system, RGS, RE simulation clusters, troubleshooting software license issues and IT hardware knowledge related to Petrotech application.
