Duties:

– Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems equipment,cameras and audio.
– Read a technical drawings
– Perform high voltage electrical work
– Troubleshoot electrical issues and make necessary repairs
– Install and connect wiring, outlets.
– Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards
– Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects on time and within budget
– Keep accurate records of work performed

Skills:

– Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including high voltage work
– Ability to build frame and wiring for electrical installations.
– Familiarity with schematics and ability to troubleshoot electrical issues
– Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
– Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Assembling High Voltage cabling and low voltage harnesses along with interfacing connections. • Installing and routing both High and Low voltage vehicle harnesses. • Investigating, diagnosing, and rectifying faults in low voltage vehicle systems. • Conducting low voltage system tests on vehicles when necessary. • Supporting prototype emphasis builds and highlighting any encountered build issues. • Proficiency in bench testing low voltage systems and designing test leads and rigs for a consistent testing process. • Compiling concise lists of required parts and materials to aid the procurement process. • As an Auto Electrician, you should be adept at interpreting electrical wiring diagrams and connection pinouts. Your expertise goes beyond interpretation as you’re able to identify inconsistencies or errors in these diagrams.
