We are looking for a DevOps Specialist to join our team and who will share our Company values.

What Sets You Apart:

  • Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure;
  • Understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying this to developers;
  • Implementing various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure;
  • Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes;
  • Defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation;
  • Demonstrate the ability to understand and evaluate existing applications and platforms, give recommendations for enhancing performance via gap analysis and assist with modifications;
  • Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended;
  • Planning out projects and being involved in project management decisions

Qualifications:

  • 3 years experience working in a similar or related role. Experience as a DevOps Specialist or similar software engineering role;
  • Strong knowledge of Azure or another major cloud provider (GCP, AWS);
  • Strong knowledge of cloud-native technologies;
  • Proficient with SVN, git and git workflows;
  • Good knowledge of PowerShell, Groovy, Bash or Python;
  • Working knowledge of Jira, Jenkins, GitHub, and MSBuild;
  • Ability to work independently or to work in a team (to learn and contribute);
  • Must have excellent strategizing techniques, have above average communication skills;
  • Hands-on experience in networking security, databases and cloud systems;
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills;
  • Self-motivated with the ability to deliver high-quality results under minimal supervision;
  • Willing to learn skills and techniques specific to our work environment
