HOURS PER WEEK: 35 hours

HOURLY RATE: $16.55

NUMBER OF POSITIONS: One (1)

We are looking for one (1) Summer student in the CYW, DSW, SSW, CJS who are returning to school for the fall semester. We will consider alternate post-secondary programs on an individual basis. Candidates will be working with adults who have an Intellectual Disability.

These positions will work out of our Supported Living locations and our Day Program. Details of the position would be engaging people to participate in their community, skill development, connecting people with volunteering and employment opportunities, and awareness training.

Community Support Workers will involve adults who have an intellectual disability with their Community. This might include job coaching, skill building, attending community events, support with exercise, transit training, meal prepping and cooking. The successful applicant must be able to be flexible, be creative and adaptable as life can be unpredictable on a day-to-day basis.

Must be vaccinated against COVID 19, a clear Criminal Record Check and Driver’s license are Mandatory. Proof of enrollment in a post-secondary program is also mandatory. First Aid/CPR is an asset.
