Vernon Nissan is looking to hire an Apprentice Technician with a passion for the automotive industry and servicing our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow proceduresto inspect and test vehicles
  • Performing the work described in the work orders efficiently and accurately, based on the dealership and manufacturer standards
  • Determining the cause of any defect and completing the required repairs effectively and efficiently
  • Perform standard mechanical repairs such as changing brake pads, oil changes and tires
  • Quote labour, time and parts cost estimates
  • Maintain the workshop and customer areas and keeping inventory areas well-organized

Requirements:

  • Can work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license
  • Organized and pays attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills

Wage:

  • Starting at $25 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8am-4:30pm; Monday to Friday
