Frances’ Financial Solutions is a boutique agile bookkeeping firm focusing on tailored financial solutions including bookkeeping, payroll and finance management. We are currently looking for a bookkeeper to join our team.  Pay: $20.00 to 25.00 per hour Job type: Part time Location: Barrie, ON (Remote) Hours: 10-15 hours per week, flexible Monday-Friday 9-5 EST Work Language: English  Responsibilities: Manage client correspondence Process full cycle accounting including sales invoices and receipts, AR payments, vendor invoices and AP payments Reconcile bank statements and review discrepancies Prepare first review of financial statements – profit and loss, AP, AR Maintain financial records and documentation according to company standards Prepare HST/GST/QST filings and remittances Process payroll and related filings Qualifications: Diploma in accounting or other business field 3-10 years experience in a bookkeeping/accounting role 2-5 years experience as a client/business manager Experience with CRA/non-profit audits Payroll experience preferred Requirements: Proven experience as a bookkeeper  Solid understanding of basic accounting principles Proficient using a multitude of accounting software – Quickbooks (Desktop and Online), Sage, Xero, Spire Proficient using receipt/database software including Hubdoc & Dext Prepare Strong client and vendor relationship skills, including interpersonal, communication, and customer service. Experience with multiple softwares including 1 Password, Microsoft Suite and Google Suite of products Strong attention to detail and accuracy Experience working in an agile/remote environment Excellent organizational and time management skills Thrives in working independently Proactive and solutions-based approach to problem solving
