One of our manufacturing clients in Mississauga, ON is looking for a Millwright for their facility.



Shifts

Day and afternoon shifts



Roles And Responsibilities
  • The Millwright is responsible for performing maintenance activities to maintain all primary and support production equipment to produce quality products.
  • Support all predictive and preventive maintenance programs
  • Troubleshoot conveyor belts, packaging machines, labelers, hydraulic and pneumatic circuits, valves, cylinders, conveyance systems, gear boxes, and pumps.
  • Perform specific tasks such as planning machine installations and alignments, fabricating machinery from constituent parts, etc.
  • Working with (lathe & milling machines), welding (ARC, TIG, MIG), and pneumatic & hydraulic fields is required.
  • Must be able to install and set up parts using vendors manual (sensors, motors, speed controls, etc.)
Qualifications
  • 433A Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) License
  • 2-3 Years' experience in a Manufacturing/Food production environment
  • Has experience in safely operating shop equipment (lathe, mill saw, milling machine, etc.)
  • Welding experience is an asset.
  • Ability to work scheduled overtime as required
