Our client is seeking a SR Sharepoint Developer to support SharePoint Online and Power Apps for the Small Modular Reactor (SMR)/Nuclear Development team

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced SharePoint Developer / Support Analyst to join the Small Modular Reactor (SMR)/Nuclear Development team. This role is integral to the design, development, implementation, and support of a new IT environment, including multiple solutions built in SharePoint Online and Power Apps, with reporting in Power BI. The successful candidate will participate in the design and development of new solutions and occasionally lead enhancement activities for our Microsoft SharePoint environment. They will also help establish the support mechanisms required for the new environment.

Preference will be given to those available to be on-site Regina at least 3 days a week.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the administration of SharePoint environments.
  • Provide expert advice and solutions for SharePoint-related queries and projects.
  • Log, investigate, and manage incident tickets, including problem management.
  • Manage software releases, including the preparation of release notes.
  • Implement and manage changes within the SharePoint environment.
  • Provide ongoing support for SharePoint applications and related tools.
  • Utilize Azure DevOps for project tracking and management.
  • Use MS Teams, SharePoint, Power Apps, and Power BI effectively for collaboration and reporting.
  • Adhere to Project Management framework and templates aligned to the Canadian nuclear management system.

Must Haves:

  • 7+ years as a Sharepoint Developer doing application support
  • Proficiency in MS Teams, SharePoint, Power Apps, SharePoint Online and Power BI.
  • SharePoint add-ons and cloud services experience
  • Ability to work in a regulated, document-centric environment.
  • Can successful pass an identity verification, background check including electronic fingerprinting, and CSIS Level 1 security clearance

Nice to Haves:

  • Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Education or training in SharePoint or Microsoft 365.
  • IAEA training in security and information technology.
  • Regulated environment, particularly in the nuclear industry.
