POSITIONS for RECRUITMENT:

  • 2nd Engineer

MANDATORY TRAINING & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Transport Canada COC - Specific to Position
  • Valid STCW'95 Safety Training
  • DP Induction Certificate (minimum)
  • Marine First Aid (within 3 years)
  • WHMIS
  • Valid Canadian Passport or Canadian PR Status
  • Transport Canada Seafarer's Medical
  • Transport Canada Seaman's Book
  • Proficiency in Maritime Quality Safety Management System (MQSMS) and HSE (Quality Health Safety and Environment) system.
  • Must hold license for chief engineer’s position.
  • Proficiency in maintenance of the compressors LMF 78sT/138‐207‐E50.
  • Proficiency in maintenance, monitoring of the Wartsila engines.
  • Proficiency in maintenance of the Vestdavit retractable utility boat davit TDB-12001, TDB-3606.
  • Proficiency in maintenance of the Hi-Fog fire fighting system.
  • Proficiency in use of PMS TMmaster system.
  • Must be willing to undergo industry required medical & drug assessments
  • Must be willing to work 6 weeks on/off rotation
