Position Summary:

Acuren is currently recruiting for a CWB Level 2 Inspector to support projects in Central Region. If you are seeking a dynamic industrial environment with opportunities for individual growth and learning, this is for you.

Responsibilities:

  1. Examining welds for quality, integrity, and adherence to welding procedures.
  2. Utilize various testing methods such as visual inspections, radiography, ultrasonic testing, or magnetic particle testing to assess weld quality.
  3. Review welding documentation, including welding procedures, specifications, and related documents to ensure that all welding activities align with industry codes and standards.
  4. Maintain quality assurance throughout the welding process.
  5. Monitor and report on welding activities, identify any deviations from standards and recommend corrective actions.
  6. Provide detailed reports on inspections and make recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:

  1. CWB Level 2 CSA (W59 & B31.3)
  2. API510/570 would be preferred; CGSB certs - MT/PT would be an asset.
  3. Current safety tickets as per provincial requirements.
  4. Strong work ethic.
  5. Ability to maintain positive working relations with clients.
  6. Exceptional safety and quality awareness.
  7. Ability to solve problems and manage time effectively.
  8. Self-motivated and capable of working at a high technical and performance level.
  9. Valid driver's license.
  10. Clean driver's abstract.
