IT works as a strategic partner with the business in developing IT solutions and related governance for use to meet on-going and future business needs. The group provides the infrastructure for automation and systems support to ensure all lines of business are afforded the functionality they require. In maintaining and launching business critical applications such as Oaken’s eBanking and ServiceNow, IT mitigates risk, improves efficiencies and increases Home Trust profits, while fostering a culture of respect, trust and integrity.

Position Responsibilities
  • Maintain and guide landscape deployment and management
  • Advise on the infrastructure deployment in regards to the landscape
  • Mentor current basis team on daily operational procedures and best practices
  • Implement basis project tasks as required
  • Troubleshoot and resolve second level basis issues
  • Help troubleshoot OS/infrastructure issues
  • Implement support patches and OSS notes to system, in accordance with the existing Change Control procedure
  • Manage elements associated with transports and releases
  • Advise and ensure SAP System back-up and maintenance
Formal Education
  • Bachelor's degree required in Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent
  • Certification(s)/Designation(s) preferred in related area
Related Experience
  • 5-7 years administration of SAP Applications and 2-4 years of the integration of various SAP Applications
  • Previous experience with the following components (SolMan, BI, CRM, Banking Services, ECC, EP, and PI 7.1)
  • Hands on installation, maintenance, and system copies
  • HP-UX and Oracle experience in a High Availability environment
  • Knowledge of system and software best practices and methodologies such as background scheduling and monitoring, Strategic/forward thinking and control, landscape maintenance, backup/recovery procedures
  • Use of Solution Manager as a central tool for managing and monitoring an SAP Landscape
  • Performance tuning
