Our Calgary energy client is looking for a Web Developer (JavaScript, Python, RStudio) with Power Platform and Power BI experience to develop and support a Supply Management business group.

Must Haves:

  1. 5+ years as a Web Developer with JavaScript, Python and RStudio experience
  2. 2+ years of Power Platform and Power BI development experience
  3. Experience building RESTful APIs in Python (FastAPI)
  4. Relational Databases and SQL experience
  5. CI/CD (Git, Azure DevOps) experience
  6. VS Code/Pro experience
  7. Supply management and supply management workflow experience

Nice to Have:

Knowledge of Oil and Gas Operations

Responsibilities:
  1. Build business automations such as process scripting, data modeling, architecture, and analysis.
  2. Support, maintain, and enhance the SMS web-based tools and automations. Leverage web-based applications to build and enable other automations within supply management.
  3. Support, maintain, and build SMS datasets so that they are accurate and easily accessible by the end user.
  4. Participate in requirements analysis; help design solutions based on the system requirements.
  5. Monitor the health, reliability, and performance of implemented solutions, detecting issues quickly and driving quality improvement over time.
  6. Effectively collaborate with the business and development teams to understand and support stakeholders in establishing and achieving the goals.
  7. Participate as a member of a project team to develop innovative, high-quality solutions.
  8. Support integrations of the solutions into production environments, and provide production support post-handoff.
  9. Document system design and operational procedures.
