CARPENTER SUPERINTENDENT

Gulf Operators Limited is a civil contractor experienced in all aspects of civil work including concrete work, excavation, water and sewer, as well as aggregate production and sales.

We are currently accepting applications for a Carpenter Superintendent to join our team.

Responsibilities include:

• Ensure jobs are conducted in an efficient, effective, and timely manner and to the satisfaction of the customer.
• Assist in problem-solving on site along with consultants, project engineers, and Operation Manager.
• Mentor, coach, and develop Foreman/Supervisors.
• Direct Foreman/Supervisors of the daily and upcoming tasks to be followed.
• Direct the on-site sub-contractors, the material and equipment supplied, and the vendors, daily.
• Help build and maintain schedule as well as daily detailed descriptions of operations in daily report.

We are looking for the following skill sets and experience:

• 5+ years of supervisory experience.
• 5+ years of carpentry experience in a civil construction setting.
• Red seal carpenter ticket preferred.
• Concrete and/or formwork experience is required.
• Superior communication and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to demonstrate a willingness to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
