We are looking for a compassionate and caring LPN with a passion for the elderly to temporarily join our team at a beautiful Long-Term Care/ Assisted Living Facility in the *Vancouver Island and Interior BC Region.*

* Vancouver Island, B.C.
* Interior, BC

*Start Date:*
* _Join our May 2024/June2024 Travel nursing staff_

*Schedule:*
* Shifts could be 8hrs/12 hrs

*Compensation:*
* $45.00 per hour _*plus other perks*_

*Responsibilities and duties:*
* Performs assessments.
* Plans, implements, and provides personal and nursing care to residents.
* Administers oral and subcutaneous medications in accordance with pharmaceutical and organizational policies and procedures
* Directly supervises care staff to meet resident's needs.
* Performs other duties as assigned.

*Qualifications:*
* Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program.
* Current registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of BC.
* Current CPR and First Aid certification.
* Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.
* Knowledge and background in Dementia care (preferred).

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract, Casual
Contract length: 2 months

Pay: $45.00 per hour

Schedule:
* 8 hour shift
* Day shift
* Evening shift
* Monday to Friday
* Morning shift
* Night shift
* On call
* Overtime
* Weekends as needed
