App Support Analyst

Our client is looking for an App Support analyst on a contract basis.Responsibilities:Understand business requirements, build test cases and test software changesTroubleshoot problems by researching, analyzing and identifying symptoms and causesMeet client deadlines according to the service level agreements by appropriately managing and prioritizing assigned tasks while ensuring quality controlComply with the best practices available including standards of confidentiality and peer reviewParticipate in special projects as well as new implementations, according to the needs of the departmentRecognize business process inefficiencies and recommend improvementsRequirements3+ years experience in an app support roleExperience in QAExperience with SQL, .Net, Javascript front end frameworksExceptional problem-solving skills, documentation and multi tasking skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent teamwork skills – able to collaborate and build strong relationships with clients and internal teamsDemonstrate initiative, flexibility and provide complete follow through on areas of responsibilityAbility to generate a sense of urgency and bring together appropriate teamsAbility to understand and use current technology tools and have a very good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
