We are committed to delivering the highest standards of legal service to our diverse client base, guided by our values of excellence, integrity, and respect for our clients and the legal profession.Job Responsibilities:The Family Lawyer will:Produce domestic contracts unique to the client's circumstances (prenuptial and cohabitation agreements)Represent clients in court proceedings, mediation, and negotiations.Provide legal advice concerning family law matters such as divorce, parenting, child support, spousal support, and property settlements.Prepare and draft legal documents, including but not limited to, pleadings, motions, and agreements.Develop case strategies based on the client's needs and potential outcomes.Conduct legal research to support case preparation and keep current with recent developments in family law.Qualifications:Licensed to practice law in Ontario.A minimum of 3 years of experience specifically in Family Law.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficient in managing multiple cases with minimal supervision.Exceptional interpersonal skills and a professional demeanour.Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.A demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity.Proficient in legal research tools and software.Benefits:We offer a competitive compensation package, a collegial work environment, and career growth opportunities.
