Summary:
Working independently to support the delivery of high-quality learning initiatives in a complex, dynamic, and global setting. You will be an excellent networker and collaborator with business partners and subject matter experts to deliver quality and innovative learning resources, coordinate global cohort-based programmes, and drive communications to garner support and interest from partners and the learner audience alike. The primary focus of the role over the next 12 months is to support our R&D Transformation project Next Generation Submissions (NGS).

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Work closely with project leads to gather technical content from R&D subject matter experts.
  2. Support build of the 12- and 10-week submissions training programmes for NGS.
  3. Review, refresh, and create technical/scientific learning resources to support the build of knowledge pathways.
  4. Coordination of relevant learning programmes, including advertisement, registrations, and coordination of presenters.
  5. Preparation and oversight of communications for partners, intranet, and Workplace.
  6. Project management and operational delivery of key elements of R&D learning programmes.
  7. Liaison with external L&D vendors for assessment of capability and project delivery.
  8. Collation, interpretation, and reporting of learning analytics for key R&D learning programmes/interventions.
  9. Delivery and facilitation of in-person and virtual R&D learning seminars and events.
  10. Active member of the R&D learning practitioner community.

Essential Requirements:

  1. Qualified to degree level preferably in a scientific/technical field.
  2. Experience of a Pharma environment and knowledge of the R&D drug development life cycle.
  3. Excellent understanding of adult learning theories and instructional design.
  4. Practical experience building high-quality learning resources.
  5. Creative flair to simplify complex scientific and technical concepts.
  6. Solid operational and project management skills.
  7. Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English.
  8. Experience delivering training, workshops, or global events.
  9. Proactive, self-starter able to work in an agile environment.
  10. Excellent teammate fostering a collaborative work environment.

Desired Qualifications:

  1. Qualified to degree level in a scientific/technical field.
  2. Previous work experience in a pharma environment.
  3. Knowledge and expertise in artificial intelligence and machine learning.
