Senior Drafter

Unlock your potential in architectural design Join our client's team in Concord, Ontario as a Senior Drafter where you'll bring building facades to life with precision and innovation.Responsibilities:Operate a CAD workstation to develop shop drawingsAnalyze design drawings, specifications, notes and other material to determine the best approach to complete shop drawingsWork with programs such as AutoCAD softwareRead and interpret architectural drawingsDevelop drawings from site measurements and approved shop drawingsCheck and verify design drawings to adhere to specifications and design dataCheck and verify the design of 2D drawings and 3D modelsWork independently and in a team environment from concept to completionMust be able to act as point of contact for less experienced draftersKnow the product lines of various door, window and curtain wall producersAny other reasonable, lawful requirement of EmployerQualifications:College Diploma or equivalent experience required5+ years as architectural technologist in façade industryExperience being team lead, supervisor or managerExperience working in the window wall, curtain wall a must and railing industry an assetExperience creating detailed and complete shop drawingsKnowledge of AutoCADAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to produce accurate work with a high attention to detail on time and budgetInterested?Please apply directly online or by email mshaikh@agilus.ca
