Description:

As a Radiation Therapist II, you will be responsible for the organization and quality of work within your assigned Radiation Oncology Department. You will supervise Radiation Therapist I's, coach staff and students, and orient new staff. You will ensure your team of therapists delivers accurate and precise treatment and that Quality Assurance procedures are carried out. You will monitor the performance of equipment/machines and document and report any problems.

Required Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited program in Radiation Therapy in Canada or an accredited non-Canadian program. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologies (ACMDTT).

Additional Required Qualifications:
Must be able to perform all duties of the job including lifting and moving. Basic Life Support (BLS). At least 3 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist.

Preferred Qualifications:
As Required.
