Yardi is currently seeking adetail-oriented and analytical Software Development Engineer I to join ourteam. In this role, you will be responsible for modifying, implementing, andmaintaining existing software applications according to established standards.You will utilize your problem-solving skills to identify and resolve softwaredefects, perform unit testing, and ensure the integrity and interoperability ofour applications. Your ability to prioritize tasks, document defectresolutions, and follow up to ensure issues are fully resolved will be criticalto our team's success. What You’ll Do:

·Enhance, implement, and upholdexisting applications in alignment with established standards andspecifications.

·Conduct maintenance programming forcurrent versions and integrate approved modifications.

·Investigate software issuescomprehensively, identifying potential solutions, and conduct unit testing forproposed resolutions.

·Resolve defects in existingapplications, documenting and reporting resolutions, and ensuring theireffectiveness through follow-up.

·Utilize CRM systems for meticuloustracking of cases, defects, and resolutions.

·Employ endorsed integrateddevelopment environments (e.g., Visual Studio, Eclipse) to execute defectresolutions.

·Apply analytical prowess andcritical thinking to discern user needs effectively.

·Execute unit testing on designateddefect resolutions to guarantee precision, integrity, and interoperability.

·Swiftly identify and troubleshootissues throughout the design, testing, and maintenance phases employing adeptproblem-solving skills.

·Document and analyze causes for testfailures; revise and debug programs and procedures as necessary.

·Cultivate expertise in a specificdomain and industry best practices, broadening technical proficiency.

·Manage code changes proficientlyusing endorsed source control applications (e.g., Microsoft Team FoundationServer, Git).

·Uphold departmental policies,procedures, and standards throughout the software development andimplementation processes.

Who You Are:

·Bachelor’s Degree inComputer/Engineering Science or an equivalent combination of education andexperience.

·Proven experience in softwaredevelopment and maintenance, preferably in a professional setting.

·Proficiency in programming languagessuch as VB.NET, C#, Angular, Java

·Familiarity with integrateddevelopment environments (IDEs) like Visual Studio or Eclipse.

·Strong problem-solving skills andability to analyze and debug complex software issues.

·Experience with unit testingframeworks and methodologies.

·Knowledge of version control systemssuch as Git or Microsoft Team Foundation Server.

·Excellent communication skills andability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

·Detail-oriented with a commitment toupholding established standards and specifications.

·Ability to adapt to changingpriorities and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

·Familiarity with CRM systems andtheir usage in tracking cases, defects, and resolutions would be advantageous.

Ideal to have:

·Experience with relationshipdatabases (SQL Server, Oracle).

·Experience with web applications.

·Experience with accounting systems.

·Experience with IoT devices.

·Experience with distributed microservices and event sourcing.

·Experience with Kubernetes.

·Experience with security risk andvulnerability mitigation.
