ABOUT THE ROLE:

Helika is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Marketing to lead our marketing efforts. This role is crucial for driving our go-to-market strategy, shaping our brand presence, and generating demand for our innovative gaming analytics and infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in product marketing, coupled with a broad skill set in copywriting, social media marketing, branding, and managing agency and freelancer relationships. This role demands a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, capable of thriving in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Marketing Strategy & Execution:

Develop and execute comprehensive B2B marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer acquisition.

Define and uphold marketing KPIs, regularly analyzing performance and optimizing strategies to meet business goals.

Team Leadership & Management:

Manage and mentor a team of three direct reports: Product Marketing Manager, Content Marketing Manager, and Marketing Operations Associate.

Oversee the work of freelancers and agencies, ensuring alignment with Helika's marketing objectives and standards.

Product Marketing:

Lead product marketing initiatives, including go-to-market strategies, product launches, and positioning.

Collaborate with the product team to understand product features, benefits, and differentiators, translating these into compelling marketing messages.

Content & Copywriting:

Oversee the creation of high-quality content that resonates with our target audience, including whitepapers, case studies, blog posts, and social media content.

Ensure all marketing materials maintain a consistent voice and align with Helika's brand guidelines.

Brand Management:

Develop and maintain a strong brand identity that reflects Helika's mission and values.

Enhance Helika's presence across various channels, including web, social media, and industry events.

Agency & Freelancer Management:

Manage relationships with external agencies and freelancers, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work.

Coordinate and oversee outsourced projects to ensure they meet Helika's standards and objectives.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 7 years of experience in B2B marketing, with a strong emphasis on product marketing.

Proven track record of successfully bringing a challenging product to market.

Experience in early-stage startups and scaling marketing efforts from 0-1.

Strong copywriting skills with the ability to create compelling content.

Proficiency in social media marketing and branding strategies.

Excellent leadership and team management skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks

Demonstrated ability to work with urgency and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.

Experience in the gaming and/or web3 industries is highly desirable.

Strong analytical skills and experience with marketing analytics tools.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
