TalentWorld is recruiting a Warehouse Associate in Coquitlam, British Columbia for one of our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Process, package, and ship orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain organized stock and perform regular inventory checks.
  • Inspect products for quality and identify defects.
  • Assist in general and sub-assembly tasks.
  • Operate voice-picking systems or RF devices.
  • Follow all safety and hygiene protocols.
  • Safely handle and move products, including loading and unloading.
  • Organize incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Collaborate with the team to refurbish electronic products.
  • Lift and move items up to 50lbs regularly.
  • Pay attention to detail in sorting, labeling, and documenting inventory.
  • Prioritize safety measures to ensure a secure work environment.
  • Support shipping and receiving processes to meet customer demands.
  • Work effectively with team members and communicate clearly.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required.
  • Previous experience as a Warehouse Associate or similar role.
  • Prior experience in electronic assembly is essential.
  • Proficiency with voice-picking systems or RF devices.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical diagrams is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills and a strong desire to learn.
  • Physical capability to lift and move up to 50lbs unassisted.
  • Must own steel toe boots and cut-resistant gloves.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Availability to start immediately.

Employment Details

  • Salary: $19.00HR
  • Benefits: 40 hours weekly, Contract, Full-time, Onsite
  • Schedule: 8:00AM to 4:30PM, Monday to Friday
  • Other: Initially, a 3–6-month contract, with potential for extension or conversion to a permanent position
