*We are looking for a compassionate and caring Licensed Practical Nurse to join our amazing care team in one of our beautiful long term care facilities.*

*Facility Address: *Shaughnessy Seniors Community : 2250 Wilson Ave, Port Coquitlam, BC V3C 1Z5
*Position Details: *Casual - Create & control your own schedule
*Compensation: $*31.89 per hour

*Responsibilities*

* Performs assessments.
* Plans, implements, and provides personal and nursing care to residents.
* Administers oral and subcutaneous medications in accordance with pharmaceutical and organizational policies and procedures
* Directly supervises care staff to meet resident's needs.
* Performs other duties as assigned.

*Qualifications*

* Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program.
* Current registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of BC.
* Current CPR and First Aid certification.
* Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.
* Knowledge and background in Dementia care (preferred).
* Cultural education and experience are preferred
